IHEPI2009 Awards: Quality Prize for Quality Papers

The ambitions of the Visegrad Group countries – the Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland and Slovakia to contribute to the innovative and technological changes play an increasing role in recent European projects.

A flagship project among them is the decision of the European Union to set up the headquarters of the European Institute of Innovation and Technology (EIT) - inspired by and modelled on the Massachusetts Institute of Technology - in Budapest, Hungary. Other significant examples include the endeavour of innovative and dynamic research, educational and business centres – in Wroclaw, Poland and in Bratislava, Slovakia – to establish Knowledge and Innovation Communities (KICs) operating under the umbrella of EIT.

The IHEPI2009 Awards Objectives

With the aim to promote research, partnership, scientific exchange and innovation in Central European countries, the Visegrad Fund and Budapest College of Communication and Business are proud to launch the IHEPI2009 Awards: Quality Prize for Quality Papers competition.
